A Kiosk Machine is a small, stand-alone booth typically placed in high-traffic areas for business purposes. It typically provides information and applications on specific area/business needs and a variety of other topics. Kiosks are serving the end-users to save their time and money rather than taking long ride to their destination to accomplish a process that takes minutes.
Within WiSys, the idea of having Kiosk Machines came through serving the remote projects and sites in our sister companies. We noticed lot of traffic @ Human Resource Office when the employees try to process normal requests such as leave request, return from leave request, overtime, issue letters…etc.
From that point, our team started in defining the list of services that could be served through Kiosk Machines, and we came up with an elegant Kiosk machine with amazing features that interacts with our employees in easy way. Also, we provided 6 languages in our system interface due to the different languages that we have among our employees. We provide English, Arabic, Urdu, Indy, Bengali & Tagalog.
An employee could login to his area and information through his/her finger print or use the Camera device as the Eye Recognition component. Furthermore, we could have SMS as second way of authentication through sending temporary security code.
Since we implemented SAP HCM as HRMS Solution across Awqaf Group of Companies, we integrated the Kiosk Machines with our SAP HCM Solution. We provide list of services through those machines such as:
- Employee Information.
- Printing Letters.
- View & Print Pay-Slip.
- Request for Vacation.
- Return from Vacation.
- Time event
- Business Expense
- Business Trip
- General Service
- Short Leave
It is important also to highlight that our machines are integrated with SMS & Email Services as part of the notifications center to improve our quality of service and users’ satisfaction.
